Obituary

Carolyn Jane White, 81, a Tulsa resident and long-time member Sunday school teacher at Ranch Acres Baptist Church passed from this life on August 10, 2022. She was born in Oklahoma City on April 4, 1941, to John Davidson and Laura Pearl (Chafin) Davidson. She was an only child and graduated from Edison High School. She married Oren White on April 13, 1962. They had two sons, Bryan White and John White.
She enjoyed a very full and adventurous life. She wore many hats through the years from working at Southwestern Bell right out of high school, she then became a wife, mother and homemaker, Avon representative, school cafeteria worker, she and Oren owned Pioneer Root Beer Drive-In in Ponca City, a physical therapy assistant, night auditor for a small hotel chain and then retired from the State of Oklahoma Tourism Department where she had been a bookkeeper and purchasing clerk for Sequoyah State Park-Western Hills Lodge. She also enjoyed traveling with Oren during the time he worked for Travel Tours as a bus driver. They enjoyed many bus tours, life experiences and years together. There was nothing Carolyn wouldn't do for her family. She was very giving of her time and talents to God, her family, and her friends.
She is preceded in death by both her parents and her loving husband Oren. She is survived by her son Bryan and wife Terri White of Oologah, grandchildren Ryan and wife Lovey White of Stillwater, Jennifer and husband Kye Thomas of Owasso, Patrick and wife Cassie Oats of Claremore, and Ryan Nicks of Oologah; and son, John and wife Michelle White of Muskogee, grandchildren John Michael White and wife Shalyn Sack of Muskogee, Colby and wife Cecilia White of Muskogee, 10 great-grandchildren along with her cousin and best friend Donna Gish.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, August 15th at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating is Rev. Rick Brinkley.
