Carolyn Kellogg Williams was born March 31, 1940 to Eugene and Muriel Kellogg in Bristow, OK. Raised to value education, respect others and love Christ, Carolyn went on to become a dedicated educator, teaching students of varying ages English and Composition for the entirety of her career. Her Christian faith guided her daily focus on the well-being of others. Anyone who knew her saw the desire to serve others and often experienced it firsthand. Carolyn exemplified being the hands and feet of Christ and inspired others around her to do the same.
Carolyn passed away due to complications of Parkinson's disease in the early hours of Dec 3, 2020 surrounded by family and friends at her home in Tulsa. She is preceded death by her parents, Eugene and Muriel Kellogg, her brother, Don Kellogg, and her husband, Gerald Williams. She is survived by her brother Kent Kellogg of Shawnee, sister Connie Green of Owasso, son Chuck Williams and wife Laura of Tulsa, two grandchildren, Noah and Audrey Williams, whom she loved dearly, and her best friend, Priscilla Brown.
Viewing will be Monday Dec 7th and Tuesday Dec 8th from 10-8p. Service will be Wednesday Dec 9th at 10a at Moore's Southlawn location. In light of COVID-19, the family encourages as many people as possible to visit her during her viewing and/or view the service streamed on Moore's webpage.
