Obituary
WHEELER, Carrie, born December 20, 1923, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017. The daughter of John F. and Norma V. Browning, she was raised in Bixby, OK and worked at McDonnell Douglas during WWII.
In later years, she worked as a fashion consultant at Miss Jackson's Boutique, participated in a number of bowling leagues and took great joy in raising her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Jack Wheeler. She is survived by her children, Beverly Taylor, John B. (Esther) Wheeler, and Rex B. Wheeler. She is also survived by stepson, Charles (Ruth) Wheeler. Carrie treasured her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be missed.
Visitation will be 4-6 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. There will be a private family service. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-22233 share memories at www.moorefuneral.com .
