Obituary

Carrol D. Greenwood passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at the age of 91. He was born in Sugar Grove, Arkansas, on October 5th, 1923 to Cecil and Celia Greenwood. He attended schools in Sugar Grove and Booneville, Arkansas, graduating in 1941.

Carrol worked for the Defense Power Plants in Indiana and Pryor, Oklahoma, while awaiting call
into the US Naval Air Force, where he trained as a pilot and served for two years. He married Betty Bradley in January 1946.

After living in several states the couple moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1956. Carrol entered the real estate business as sales manager for Pickering Realtors before forming C.D. Greenwood Company. In 1966, he became sales manager for Adams & Leonard Realtors and later became partners with O.B. Johnston serving as vice president of the firm.

He served in many real estate organizations and was a lifetime member of the Greater Tulsa Association of Realtors. After his retirement, he and Betty traveled the world extensively and were avid golfers. Carrol was a Christian and a gentleman.
