Catherine Ida Illenberg, age 103, passed away on August 2, 2019, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on October 3rd, 1915 in Manhattan, New York to Arnold and Mosella Rose.

On October 15th, 1943, Catherine married Kenneth Leroy Illenberg. They resided in New York till 1946 when they moved to Tulsa. Catherine and Kenneth had two daughters, Cheryl De Haven and Sharon Hollingsworth. She has six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Catherine was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth, mother, brother, and sister. Longevity seems to be prevalent in her family as her mother was a little short of 102, her sister was a little over 100, and she herself was just 2 months from 104.

Catherine was a homemaker and very devoted to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed most spending time with her family. Christmas was one of her favorite times of the year. Catherine was a strong Christian and very active in her church, Yale Avenue Presbyterian.

Catherine's favorite color was pink which resulted in the nickname "Pinky".

Catherine was a very loving, kind person. She always had a smile and ready to hug. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
