Cathy Lynn Nunn, 64, of Tulsa, passed away Wednesday, November 18. She was born October 14, 1956 in Muskogee, OK to Robert Francis and Ruby Nell Syfrett. She was a 1974 graduate of Will Rogers High School. After graduation she served as an Administrative Assistant for ten years with Sun Oil Company. In 1982 she married David Nunn, and she was a faithful wife and mother to Heather and Connie. From 2000-2018 she worked for the Tulsa Public School System, earning "Support Person of the Year" honors at three different schools. Cathy loved her church family, Oklahoma Sooner football, being with family, and having fun with friends. Her favorite place to visit was the beach; she loved the sand and the ocean.

Cathy was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather Lynn Nunn, and her father, Robert Syfrett. She is survived by her husband, David, daughter Connie Lyn and mother Ruby Nell Syfrett.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Memorial Baptist Church of Tulsa at 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 24. Dr. Marc Dreyer and Rex Griffin will officiate. The family is very grateful for the love, support, and kindness of everyone.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Compassus-Tulsa Hospice or Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Cancer Institute (OCSRI).
