Catrina Ann Johnson
On February 17, 1964, a beautiful baby girl, Catrina Ann Johnson, was born to Bennie and Addie Johnson in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She spent her early years in Muskogee, where she attended Muskogee Public Schools until the age of 14. At that time, Catrina moved with her family to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where she later graduated from McClain High School.
After high school, Catrina proudly enlisted in the United States Army, serving her country for four years. After serving four years in the United States Army, Catrina pursued a higher education and earned a bachelor's degree.
Catrina dedicated much of her professional life to serving others. As a caseworker for the Department of Human Services, she made a lasting impact on many lives before retiring.
At a young age, Catrina met her life partner, Anthony White. Their union was blessed with five children: Michael, Michelle, Mark, Makayla, and Monique White. Catrina and Anthony remained together until his passing. Later, Catrina gained two bonus children, Faithful and Faizon Williams.
Years later, Catrina found love again and married her husband, Edward Smith. They greatly loved each other and remained married until his passing.
Catrina's strength, love, and unwavering commitment to her family and community will never be forgotten.
Catrina is preceded in death by her parents: Bennie and Addie Johnson; her oldest son: Michael White; life partner: Anthony White; husband: Edward Smith; 3 sisters: Edna, Phyllis and Benester; and one granddaughter: Erica White.
Catrina leaves to cherish in her memory: 4 daughters: Michelle White, Maykala White, Monique White and Faithful Williams; 2 sons: Mark White and Fai'Zon Williams; 25 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; 3 sisters: Pamela Johnson-White, Carlise Wheat and Janice Clark; 2 brothers: Lee Johnson and Benjamin "B. J." Johnson, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
