Calla Cecile Pullen Gillum went to be with the Lord February 16, 2018 at the age of 95 while at the Clare House in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her husband Fay E. Gillum and five sisters -- Hazel Bledsoe, Doris Snyder, Jolene Beal, Rosella Mann and Irene Stout. She is survived by two sister, Betty Stout and Phyllis Shoulders of Bridgeport, IL.

Cecile is survived by two children, Ralph Gillum and Linda Gillum Burritt, four grandchildren, Jeff and Ricky Burritt of Tulsa, OK, Lee and Loren Gillum, of Texas and California respectfully, and eight great grandchildren: Bailey and Brady Gillum of Texas, and Ethan, Jackson, Jayden, Harrison, Elliana, and Cora Burritt of Tulsa, OK.

Even though a master quilt maker, Cecile was also a full-time seamstress while living in Illinois and Florida. Upon moving from Mississippi to Texas she became the owner of her own in-home daycare until choosing to be a full time nanny the last 15 plus years in Texas. Upon "retiring" to Oklahoma her projects kept her busier than ever up until the last few weeks of her home-going. You are surely missed -- we love you!
