I would like to tell you a little about my beloved, Chad L. Boss. He was born to Geraldine and Keith Boss in Manhattan, Kansas, on October 12, 1959. Some of his favorite childhood memories were working with his Grandfather at his farm in he summertime. Chad was a very athletic young man and could play virtually any sport, and play well. I first laid on eyes on him at Oklahoma State University, sitting in the back of the room. It was love at first sight. After we were married we lived in Texas for awhile and then settled in Tulsa where we raised our wonderful four children; Jacob Boss, Jordan Boss, Jessemine Johnson, and Jarett Boss.
One evening, after taking his oldest son to basketball tryouts, Chad came home as the coach of the team. Coaching young men and women in the game of basketball became his passion in life, and he continued for over fifteen years. He became simply "Coach" to many, including his much-loved grandchildren.
Chad was what his soh called an "eternal optimist", which made him an excellent salesman and eventually he owned and operated his own business, Lamar Systems.
At the age of twelve, Chad became aware of his need for a Savior and became a Christian by repenting of his sin and by believing on and accepting Jesus Christ.
As each year went by, Chad developed a deeper relationship with Jesus and it became his greatest desire.
Chad met his Lord and Savior face to face on July 19, 2014. He had an immeasurable impact on those who loved him, including me, his children, his mother, his son-in-law Samuel Johnson, his daughters-in-Iaw Elisabeth and Nicole, his five grandchildren, and family too numerous to mention His presence will be missed immensely. He has always had my love and my heart, Melissa Boss.
We will be celebrating our beloved Chad Boss's life on Thursday July 24, 2014 at Eastwood Baptist Church,
