Charles Eldon Bubb
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Charles Eldon Bubb on October 11, 2025. Charles, born on March 31, 1947, was a man full of vitality and a wonderfully sarcastic, witty, and amusing character that filled any room he walked into.
Charles is mourned by his sons Charles and Jonathan Bubb, and his daughters Catherine Campbell and Nicole Maloy. His grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Carolyn Kay Bubb, whose memories he cherished till his last breath.
Charles graduated with his B.S. in Engineering from Pittsburgh State University and was a proud member of Alpha Phi Omega and Beta Delta Chi fraternities. Charles retired as a Civil Engineer with over 40 years designing and working in the oil and gas industry.
Charles was a man of sophisticated tastes, finding great enjoyment in Coca-Cola mixed with Blended Whiskey, historical war and western movies, and rooting for his favorite team, The Green Bay Packers. Despite his rather lively interests, he found tranquility in the strategic game of Chess. This versatility of spirit was one of the numerous reasons Charles was cherished by many.
His quick wit and humorous nature will be greatly missed by all who knew him, particularly the acute sarcasm that made him the unique character he was. His hearty laughter, funny anecdotes, and infectious positive energy radiated joy that made any gathering memorable.
A viewing for Charles will be held on October 17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, where friends and family may pay their last respects. This will be followed by a funeral service on October 18, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the same location. It is a time to remember Charles, share stories, and celebrate the remarkable life he led.
As we bid farewell to Charles, we gratefully remember the joy and humor he brought into our lives. His charm and wit will forever be etched in our hearts.
