Charles William Christensen, 55, of Tulsa, OK, passed away Friday, May 20, 1977, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, OK. He was born on Tuesday, November 1, 1921, in Tulsa, OK, to Charles C. Christensen and Irene (Timms) Christensen. Charles was married to Carol (Clayton) Christensen, and an electrical engineer for CRC-Cross International. He was proud to have served as a Private Second Class in the United States Marine Corps in World War II. Charles is survived by his wife, Carol; son Christopher Bradley Christensen of Tulsa, OK; grandson, William Pierce Christensen of Tulsa, OK; sister, Mrs. Harlin Jones of St. Louis, MO; mother, Mrs. Irene Salmon of Tulsa, OK; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather and father. Charles will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
