Charles Guse Lee Coatney, 94, of Tulsa, OK, passed from this life Wednesday, June 24, 2020. He was called Charles, Charlie, & Chuck. He was a believer of the Bible, a son,
a brother, a husband, a dad, a pawpaw, and an uncle.

He served his country in WWII. He retired at the age of 75, a much-respected Quality Control Inspector for Commercial Union. He loved worshiping with his brothers and sisters in Christ. Loved fast cars, sports, hunting, fishing, sports, chess, checkers, the Farmer's Almanac, and sports.

He will be missed by many. Chuck is survived by his four children, Jim and Ann, Janet and Roger, Judy and James, and John; bonus children, Linda and Ron, and Ellen; brother, Hook; sister, Deanne and Jim; eight grandkids; ten great-grandkids; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Gus & Ola Coatney; three brothers, Ed, Bill, Tommy; one sister, Violet. He buried his wife of almost 60 years, Evelyn, in 2005; his daughter, Karen in 1948; a granddaughter, Crystal in 2011; and his second wife, Betty in 2018.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 29, 2020 at 10th & Rockford Church of Christ, 829 S. Rockford, Tulsa, OK with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Donations may be made in honor of Charles to the Alzheimer's Association.
