Charles David Dobb, 64, a Broken Arrow resident, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022. David was born October 10, 1957 to Jimmy Carl and Gwynn Rae (Hibdon) Dobbs in McAlester, Oklahoma.
David was a CPA who worked in various oil and gas industries in the state of Oklahoma. He retired in 2021 from ONEOK after serving more than 20 years.
David, along with his wife, Cindy taught preschool for 20-plus years. He served as a videographer, as well as serving in various other ministries at Aspen Park Baptist Church. He loved being able to take his grandkids to Vacation Bible School. David was an avid golfer and during his retirement enjoyed playing with friends, family, and sons.
David always looked forward to his favorite vacation spot on the beach in Mexico. He and Cindy enjoyed their trips to Mexico over the past 17 years, sitting on the beach, side-by-side in paradise.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his beloved wife of 41 years, Cindy, and two sons, Joshua David and spouse, Kelli Dobbs, Jonathan Kirby and spouse, Ashli Dobbs. His two sisters: Pamela Rhae (Dobbs) Listar and husband, Milton (Bud) Louis Listar, Jr., Traci Michelle (Dobbs) Pagan, and Albert Pagan. His grandkids, Jessicka, Gabriel David, Charlotte, and Olivia held a special place in his heart.
His celebration of life service will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 2 p.m., at Aspen Park Baptist Church, located at 4400 South Aspen Avenue, Broken Arrow, OK.
