Charles E. Dougherty passed peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ January 10, 2023. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma July 18, 1947. He was preceded in death by and the loving son of Charles R. Dougherty and Leona Bales Dougherty and the grandfather to Jensen K. Whitmore. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Debra Lou Dougherty; his children, Terri and Bill Whitmore, Sherry Codner, Chad Dougherty, Justin Dougherty and Jennifer Dougherty. Proud Grandfather to Desiree, Kaycee, Trevor, Tabby, and ten other grandchildren. Proud Great-Grandfather to many great-grandkids. Charles was a Christian man who loved his Jesus with all his heart. He was an automobile mechanic and owned his own successful business throughout the years. His hobbies included fishing and teaching his grandkids about fishing; he loved gardening and the rewards of growing his own food and sharing with the less fortunate. His passion was his family; he loved deeply and it showed to everyone around him. There will be a private celebration for his close family and friends.
