Charles Roy Frye "Chuck", 78, was born to the late James E. and Rosalie H. Frye in Tulsa, OK on February 20, 1946 and passed from this earth May 10, 2024 in Broken Arrow, OK. He graduated from Central High School in Tulsa in 1965. Chuck went to college for a few short years before deciding to join the United States Air Force and was stationed in California during the Vietnam War.
He loved the Lord and always told us he would meet him in the end. He was a 32nd degree Mason of the Tulsa Petroleum Lodge #474 for 37 years and was a Shriner as well. He enjoyed spending time hunting and fishing in the remote locations of Alaska and Colorado with his brother and was referred to as "The Great White Hunter." He also did a lot of camping either at the lake with family or at Boy Scouts events with his 3 outlaws.
Chuck had a wonderful and sometimes weird sense of humor and made sure everyone had a smile on their face with a joke or funny family story.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 33 years, but 41 altogether, Barbara Frye, along with his sister Barbara Ross and brother Ernest Frye (wife Inge) and their families. Chuck is also survived by his daughters and their families: Lori Grumbles (husband Larry Sr.) and their sons William Grumbles (wife Desiree), Jacob Grumbles (wife Crystal), Dakota Grumbles, Dalton Grumbles, Larry Grumbles Jr. (wife Eryn McDonald), daughter Shelly Simpson and her children Seth and Jayden Simpson. These families include several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was so loved by his extended family as well to include several cousins, nieces, nephews, family friends, and will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 17th, 2024 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, followed by a reception at Brother to Brother Biker Church located at 5451 S Mingo Rd, Suite G, Tulsa, OK 74145.
