Dr. Charles Maddin, 88, of Tulsa, passed away Friday, August 5, 2016. He was born September 7, 1927 in Vernon, TX to Earl and Alma Maddin. He was a retired chemist for Dowell and a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Tulsa Gun Club, the Oil Capital Gun Club and was a former trustee at Howard Payne. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Dorothy Maddin; his son, Charles "Chuck" Maddin of Tulsa; his siblings, Don and Jolynn of Forney, TX; Anita Edwards of Richardson, TX; Mary Jo Maddin of Wichita Falls, TX; many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Oklahoma Baptist Home for Children in Owasso, OK or Asbury United Methodist Church.
