Charles Frederick "Shoes" Childers, 92, passed away on March 11, 2020 in Tulsa, OK. He was born November 9, 1927 in Pawhuska, OK to Sherman F. Childers and Elsie Lucious (McAnally) Childers.

Charlie is a United State Marine Corp veteran. He is a retired Captain of the Tulsa Fire Department and also a Plant Protection Security Officer for McDonnell Douglas.

Charlie is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Linda Sue (Smith) Childers and his son, Mike Childers.

The viewing will be from 10am - 8pm, Sunday, March 15, 2020 and the funeral service will be held 10 a.m., Monday, March 16, 2020 both at Moore's Southlawn Funeral Home. Interment will be at Park Grove Cemetery, Broken Arrow, OK. In lieu of flowers, the family requests, contributions in Charles Childers' honor to: John 3:16 Mission, Animal Rescue Foundation, and/or Tulsa Fire Department Honor Guards F.F.C.U.
