Charles Stewart was an incredible father, partner, brother, and friend. He passed away unexpectedly on July 28th, 2023, on his boat at Keystone Lake at the age of 49.
Charles was born to Thomas and Amanda Stewart on September 9th, 1973. All his life, Charles had an incredible love for music, starting his career in car audio before he was out of high school. For over 30 years, Charles shared his love for music, eventually acquiring Car Toys with his partner, Lisa Stewart, in 2016.
Beyond his professional achievements, Charles was known for his fun-loving personality and genuine warmth, effortlessly endearing himself to all who had the privilege of crossing his path. His infectious laughter and heartwarming spirit created tight-knit communities wherever he went, from OSU tailgates to sharing camaraderie and cigars at Churchill's on Brookside.
Charles is survived by his partner, Lisa Stewart, and his children, Beth and Tyler Stubblefield, Charles Stewart Jr., and Kayla and Hope Anley. His nieces and nephews are Alex Stewart, Cody Case, and Kylee and Dillon Johnston, as well as his caring brothers, Tim and Richard Stewart, and their respective wives, Janet and Kari Stewart.
While the void left by Charles's passing is immeasurable, his memory will forever endure in the hearts of those who loved him and his legacy will carry on through his legacy of loud music, fond memories, and his loving friends and family.
