TUMLINSON, Charles Elton, 83, died after a illness lasting 23 years on August 1, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. He was born September 2, 1931 in Dallas, TX to Dick G. and Ruth Marie Tumlinson. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War until April 15, 1952 when he received a medical discharge. After his discharge he worked in the Sales Industry as a salesman for many years until medically he could no longer work.

Preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Bob Tumlinson and Fred Tumlinson. Survived by his wife of 48 years, Denise Tumlinson of Tulsa, OK; sister Betty Nelle of Grand Prairie, TX; daughter Jermaine Wheeler and husband David of Muskogee, OK; daughter Karen Miller of Ft. Worth, TX; son Charles Tumlinson II of Ft. Worth, TX; grandson Michael Miller of Ft. Worth, TX; great-grandson Maverick Miller of Ft. Worth, TX; and numerous extended family members.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday August 11, 2015 at Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel 9350 East 51st Tulsa, OK 74145.
Reception to follow from 3:00-5:00 P.M. at Moore's Southlawn.
