Webster
January 1, 1941 – April 20, 2026
Charles William Webster, born January 1, 1941, in Camdenton, Missouri, to Della and William Webster, passed away leaving a legacy of faith, family, and service. He grew up in Kellyville, Oklahoma, where he attended Kellyville Schools and was a standout athlete in softball and basketball.
After graduating from Kellyville High School, Charles served in the United States Army, including service in Korea, where he received letters of commendation.
Following his military service, he worked for Liberty Glass and the John Zink Company. While playing softball at Evangelistic Temple, he met Deloris Gibbens, and they were married. They shared a life centered on faith and family and were blessed with one son, Kevin. Charles later founded Webster Heating and Air, which he operated until his retirement.
A devoted member of Evangelistic Temple, Charles was one of its longest-serving ushers and was always ready to help. He enjoyed an active life, including canoe trips, softball, family gatherings, and time with friends. In retirement, he developed a love for golf and cherished time spent on the course and at weekly breakfasts with his church friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Wanda Webster.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Webster; his son, Kevin Webster and wife Daree, of Tulsa; granddaughters Dillyn and Dilayni New: his sisters, Betty Turney of Tulsa and Helen Whitehouse of Sapulpa; his brother, Jim Webster of Norman; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation with family present will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2026 from 3:00 PM till 5:00 PM at SpiritLife Church, 5345 S. Peoria Ave., Tulsa, Oklahoma 74105.
Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the SpiritLife Church with Pastor Tommy McLauren officiating. Military Honors will be presented by the United States Army honors team out of Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
