Cheryl Ann (Kelly) Posey passed away on July 2nd at 12:46am at St Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on June 23, 1953 in Newton, KS to Jim and Rhoda (Shorty) Kelly. Cheryl graduated from Remington High School in 1971 and went on to attend Emporia State University. She held various jobs throughout her life and spent 25 years at John K. Fishers where she retired in 2006.

Cheryl's hobbies included horseback riding, roller skating, cooking, camping, and of course, frequenting the casino. In fact, she loved the excitement of the casino so much that after retirement she went to work at her local High Winds Casino near her home in Bernice, Oklahoma. She also loved Kenny Rogers. Even in her last days, she was still talking about him.

She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and her granddaughter, Landrie Winn. She is survived by her sisters, Chris (Carl) Slater, Terri (Harry) Moore, her husband, Roy Posey, her children Andy (Lisa) McLaughlin and Jill (Kyle) Winn, John (Monica) Posey and Paul Posey, her grandchildren Lauren McLaughin, Landon, Blake and Kade Winn, and Thomas Posey, and Zach Posey.

Cheryl was known for her feisty, stubborn personality and she was never afraid to tell it like it was. She had many friends and loved with all her heart. Anyone who entered her home never left hungry; she loved to cook and had every kind of kitchen gadget one could imagine. To know her was to love her; she will be missed by all. No one will ever compare to Cheryl Kelly.
