Obituary

Clarence Wayne Beets, (Wayne), 91, of Tulsa, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024. He was born November 5, 1932, in Okmulgee, OK, to Clarence Oscar and Agnes Beets. Wayne owned and serviced vending machines. Clarence Wayne Beets known by most as Wayne and with the very close old timers also as "Son" a nickname he acquired as a boy growing up as people would see his Dad "Clarence"approaching with Wayne by his side, and people would say "there comes Clarence and Son". And if you were a real old timer you would hear some say here comes "Cob and Son" a nickname given to Wayne's dad from his initials of his name Clarence Oscar Beets.

To us 5 boys he was called Dad and to the Grandkids and Great Grandkids he was simply Grandpa. If you were his friend you treasured every minute spent visiting with him as he was the most honest and sincere and positive person you could ever meet and he could make you laugh with his sense of humor. His generosity signified who he was as a person, kind, loving and giving no matter what color or race you were because he was not racist he was a God fearing man and he loved all people.

As a Husband to our Mom Fern, you could never find a married couple that exemplified the true meaning of love any better than them two. Mom had the same qualities as a person as Dad and combining them two together in marriage was a special love that only the very blessed are fortunate to have experience. I can't count or recall how many times Dad has said, "God gave me the most wonderful and beautiful woman on earth as my wife, there will never ever be another one like her" and he loved her till his last breath of life on this earth. He never cared to ever date another or any romance of any kind as he was waiting for his time to unite with mom in heaven. God has now fulfilled that for the both of them.

To say Wayne Beets will be missed here on earth is an understatement, however a Christian a person of faith, is happy for him, as he has departed from a world in total chaos and evil and has been reunited with the Love of his Life in glorious heaven. 2 Timothy 4:7

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, for we walk by faith, not by sight. Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.

John 14:1-4 "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my Father's house there are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, that where I am you may be also. And you know the way to where I am going."
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing. Amen !

He was a member of Nuyaka Baptist Church, Eastgate Masonic Lodge, Tulsa's Scottish Rite and the Akdar Shrine. Wayne enjoyed spending time with his family, horseback riding, and four wheeling.
