James ("Jim") Floyd Lawrence, Jr., 24, of 9521 E. 46th St. North, Tulsa, OK, died on Saturday, April 16, 1977, of burns and smoke inhalation received in a fire in the 3000 block of North Mingo Rd., Tulsa, OK. Jim was born in Tulsa, OK on September 29, 1952 to James Floyd Lawrence, Sr. and Dorothy (Hess) Lawrence. Jim was proud to have served in the United States Army at a Private E-1 from 1971-1972. He is survived by his wife, Debra (Finney) Lawrence; mother, Dorothy Lawrence of Tulsa, OK; 3 brothers, Rick Lawrence, David Lawrence, and Donald Lawrence, all of Tulsa, OK; grandmother, Elizabeth Hess of Tulsa, OK.
