Clarence Leon Mangrum, 77, of Tulsa, died Tuesday, June 18, 2019 after an illness. He was born April 16, 1942 to W. E. and Irene Carter Mangrum in Panama, OK. He married Mary Ann Watts on Nov. 30, 1963 at Spiro, OK. They achieved over 55 years of marriage together.
Mr. Mangrum was a mechanic for Oklahoma Natural Gas prior to retirement and continued to work on small engines at his home after retiring. He was always surrounded by close friends, and extended family members.
In addition to his wife Mary Ann, he is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Harris and a granddaughter, Courtney Ann Harris, both of the family home. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jimmy Mangrum.
Viewing for Clarence Leon Mangrum will be on Friday beginning at 10:00 AM at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, with the family receiving friends from 5-7 PM. The funeral service will be on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, 5111 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa. Interment at Memorial Park Cemetery on the family lot will follow.
