Pittman
March 8, 1955 – March 31, 2026
Clarence Dale Pittman was born to Rancy and Louise Cook-Pittman on March 8,1955 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was the seventh of fourteen children and accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at a very young age, growing up in St. John's Baptist Church and New Jerusalem Baptist church during his formative years. He later attended Obedient Christian Center where he served diligently on many boards.
He graduated from Booker T. Washington High School's proud class of 1974.
He was a very hard worker and at the tender age of fourteen, he started washing dishes at King Authur's restaurant, obtained his CDL in the early eighties and drove commercial vehicles around the world until starting as a Shipping and Receiving clerk and later promoted to Crew Chief at American Airlines for a total of 38 years.
He met Shirley Williams and was married for 46 years. To this union two beautiful daughters were born ShaLonda Renee and ShaQuita Denise.
Clarence Pittman's outgoing spirit will be missed by many who had the pleasure of knowing him. He enjoyed working in yard, detailing cars and grilling. He considered himself to be a Dominoe King and enjoyed all types of sports, Football, Basketball and even Tennis.
Spending quality time with his family was his joy. He enjoyed having a good laugh, telling all types of stories and jokes while watching the games simultaneously.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, three sisters: Maythurple 'Renee' Pittman, Marlo Alexander and Rosa Lee King. Three brothers: Gary Pittman, Arice Pittman and Donald Ray Phillips.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Shirley-Ann Pittman, Daughters: ShaLonda and ShaQuita Pittman. Grandchildren: Madelyn, Jacob, Deontre' Youngblood, Caleb and Joshua Walker. Four sisters: Betty Pittman, Patricia Pittman, Brenda Humprey and Sheila Pittman. Three brothers: Kenneth Pittman (Karen), David Phillips, Mark Phillips (Tracey) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
