Obituary

Clayton L. Nichols, 77, Tulsa resident, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021, at his home. He was born August 5, 1943, to Van and Elizabeth (Harmon) Nichols in Okemah, OK. Clayton served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Era. He retired as a Steel Worker for Crane Carrier Company in Tulsa, OK. Clayton was a member of the Steel Workers Union and held several positions including President and Secretary. He enjoyed the casino, fishing, hunting and raising beagles for hunting. He belonged to a Pool League and Bowling League. Clayton was an "Awesome Dad" and funny to be around. He would bang the pots and pans together which would wake up the family. Clayton is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Judy Nichols; second wife, Lillie Nichols; and his sister, Kathy Nichols. He is survived by his three daughters: Betty Garcia, husband Joe of Tulsa, OK; Jeanice Rohde, husband Robert of Peggs, OK and Kathy Ray and Eugene Gomez of Tulsa, OK; brother, Steve Nichols of Frisco, TX; sister, Jackie Hasten of Flower Mound, TX; grandchildren, Alyssa Symm, Jenny Grogg, Lacey Arroyo, Katy Hiltibidal, Robert Rohde III, Cody Askins, Clayton Rohde, Cory Rohde, Breanna Ray, Kayla Rohde, Holden Vines, Mason Garcia; and great-grandchildren, Knoxx, Naomi, Ella, Liam, Zackie, Zaylin, Rhea, Addie, Makiya, Makenzi, Brody, Jax, Draedyn and plus one to be announced.

Visitation: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel.

Funeral Service with Military Rites: 2:00 PM Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Moore's Eastlawn Chapel. 918-622-1155.
