Clevanne McGhee Kirberger, 84, passed away on June 16, 2015. Clevanne was born August 23, 1930 in Plainview, TX to Cleveland and Ann (Marble) McGhee. She graduated from the University of Tulsa with a bachelor of music education degree. She married Donald Charles Kirberger of Tulsa. They shared 63 loving years of marriage. Clevanne had two daughters, Annie Kirberger and Donna Arnold, both of Tulsa. Spencer Arnold was her one and only pride and joy grandson. She was a 60 year member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. Clevanne worked at the University of Tulsa for the Golden Hurricane Club for 20 years and Don and Cleve continued to be avid football and basketball fans cheering on the players, coaches and waving the hurricane flags. Clevanne had a positive attitude that was contagious to all she interacted with. She cherished time with her friends and family and especially loved spending weekends at their lake home during the summers. Cleveanne is survived by her husband, Donald Charles Kirberger; daughters, Donna Arnold and Margaret Ann Kirberger; grandson, Spencer Arnold; niece, Kim Mires and nephew, Bill McGhee, both of Texas.
