Obituary
Marion Hope, 82, of Catoosa, Oklahoma, passed away Monday morning October 30, 2023, at Hillcrest Heart Hospital. Marion was born May 30, 1941, to Clifford and Mary Hope in Shamrock, Oklahoma.
Marion was a truck driver and served in the military for 20 years; he served in the Vietnam War, did four years in the Army and 19 1/2 years in the National Guard.
Marion was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Mary Hope; son, Mike Hope; daughter, Debbie Borgerson; two brothers, Jimmy and Donnie Hope.
Marion is survived by his two children, Cliff Hope of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Jane Lunn and husband Shawn Lunn of Catoosa, Oklahoma; son-in-law, Blake Borgerson of Chelsea, Oklahoma; and daughter-in-law, Stephanie Hope of Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Marion had 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren that he adored very much.
His favorite pastimes were hunting, fishing, watching old western movies, and spending time with his family. Marion will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday, November 6, 2023, at Highland Cemetery, Oilton, Oklahoma. Under the direction of Moore's Rosewood Chapel, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
