Clyde Emerson Lowther was born in Tulsa, OK February 6, 1951 and died November 22, 2016.
Clyde worked at Breed Technologies and Allied Signal Automotive in Sterling
Heights, Michigan from 1995 until 1998 testing Safety Restraint systems and was a lab technician for Crash Simulation.
He also worked for Allied Signal Aerospace in Tempe, Arizona from 1981 until 1995. He performed Engineering Development and Qualification Testing on fluid powered aircraft components. From 1978 to 1980, Clyde worked for Northrop Corporation as a Technical Instructor in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. From 1973 to 1978, Clyde worked at Airesearch as a Fabrication Specialist in Phoenix, AZ. He acquired the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics in order to assemble aircraft components.
From 1969 to 1973, Clyde was in the USAF at Williams AFB in Arizona and was a crew chief on the T-38 Trainer Aircraft. His training and education included 40 credit hours toward AA degree at Mesa Community College, Aircraft maintenance technician F-5 in Hawthorne, CA and USAF courses in Aircraft Maintenance Jet Aircraft one and two engines. Clyde graduated from McLain High School in Tulsa, OK in 1969.
Clyde is preceded in death by his father John Emerson Lowther. Clyde is survived by three children: Kari Kramer, Erin and Jason Stevenson and grandchildren Kaleb and Kaden Kramer, mother Lavon Jobe and sisters Sherrie Jobe Swezey and Reba Jobe White.
