Coeta Joyce (Grant) Percy was born July 18, 1932 to William Perry & Gladys Rose (Whorton) Grant. Now if you search long enough you will find out that it was actually July 19th that she was born on but Coeta always used the 18th instead.

Coeta was baptized on January 25, 1950 in The First Baptist Church of W.C. She made her final church home at First Baptist Church of Rolling Hills in Catoosa, OK in March, 1994.

She was married to the love of her life and father of her three children, Arthur Eugene Percy, till his death on February 25, 2000.

Coeta loved helping others which is part of why she became a Social Worker with DHS, specifically Title-19. She worked there for 21 years and retired on December 31, 1995. What a way to end a year!

On July 6, 2020 with her family near, Coeta passed away. She was preceded by her parents, William and Gladys; her husband and love of her life, Arthur; and two sisters.

She is survived by her three children: daughter, Janet Winfield (Steve); son, Art Percy (Sherrie); and daughter, Susan Sontag (Mark); grandchildren, Shane, Seth, Caleb, Ameslie, Kistin, Brandy, Matthew, Ronnie and Eric; 17 great-grandchildren and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins. What a legacy she leaves!

Funeral services are 2pm, Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Moore Southlawn Chapel. Viewing will be the morning of the service from 9am-1:30pm. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
