Colletta Lynne Crooks 1949 - 2026
Colletta passed away at her home in Tulsa OK, surrounded by family on Jan 5, 2026. Colletta was born on Oct 13, 1949 in Dodge City, KS, to Thelma Jean Porter & Thomas William Smith, both deceased. She has 4 brothers, Randall W. Smith, Jack C. Smith deceased, Richard C. Smith & Jason C. Smith. Colletta graduated from Will Rogers High School in 1967 and married John Charles Crooks in 1968. They had 2 children, Joetta J. Cunningham & Charles W. Crooks. Colletta considered Steve Cunningham to be her 2nd son and Dawn Crooks her 2nd daughter. She also had many grandchildren.
Colletta thought her greatest achievement in life was being a mom! Charles Crooks & Joetta N Steve Cunningham would say she was the best! A life well lived.
