Connie Lee Paine was born in Holdenville, OK, the only child of Mary Lee and Leslie Paine. She resided in Tulsa since 1950.

Also, grandsons Jeff Koch (Jennifer) and Thomas Koch (Courtney), granddaughters Leslie Koch, Kayla Koch, Sara Freeman (Bryan), and Kathleen Gallo (Flavio). She had eight great-grandchildren.

Connie was an educator, political activist, and community servant. She ran for the state House, managed campaigns, and championed causes near and dear to her heart: public education; social justice; and senior citizen initiatives.

After a long career as a teacher, Connie retired and became deeply involved with volunteer activities. She still found time, though, to earn a Master's degree in social work. In 2003, she received the Volunteer of the Year Award from AARP.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 15,
2018 at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at www.moorefuneral.com
