Obituary

Curtis Biggers, 83, died Thursday, November 12, 2015. Curtis was born in Hobart, OK, to Howard Columbus and Eddie (Reville) Biggers on October 21, 1932. After high school Curtis enlisted in the US Navy where he served in the Korean War on the USS Leyte from 1950-1953.
After the service he attended the University of Oklahoma graduating with his degree as an electrical engineer. He was employed by PSO from 1960 until retirement in 1992. He married the love of his life LeRue (Absher) on June 19, 1954. They were members of Asbury United Methodist Church.
Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers: Howard Biggers, Jr. and Pete Biggers and one sister: Billie Freeman. Curtis is survived by one brother Ronald Biggers, his sons and daughters in law: Jeff Biggers and wife, Areli of Hopkinton, MA and Doug Biggers and wife Mollie of Arvada, CO; Grandchildren: Maribeth Bousum, Brian Biggers, Melissa Schrupp, Karina Swanson, Alan Biggers, Brittaney Biggers and Landon Biggers; and four Great-Grandchildren: Addison and Luke Bousum, Aria Schrupp and Aubrey Rose Biggers.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, November 16, 2015 at Asbury United Methodist Church, 6767 S. Mingo Road, Tulsa, Oklahoma 74133. In lieu of flowers friends may contribute to the American Cancer Society. Under the direction of Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, OK 74145, Phone: 918-663-2233.
