Cynthia Millar passed away on June 24, 2022, at the age of 69, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by her loved ones. She was the only child of Elmer and Lois Thompson from Torrance, California, who preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband; James Millar, her daughters; Amber Hudgins and Rebecca Simmons, and her grandchildren; Noah and Sydney Simmons, and Charlotte, Holden and Eleanor Hudgins.

She received her Bachelor of Science in Geology from Chapman College in Orange, California. She went on to worked for a petroleum geology firm in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She met Jim in 1975 and after moving to Tulsa, they were married November 3, 1979. Cindy went on to volunteer and work for Union Public Schools until she retired in 2001.

She enjoyed spending her days studying geological rock formations, bowling, woodworking, working with Apple computers, traveling with family, boating at the lake, photography, and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.

Cindy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, who will be dearly missed. Her memorial service will be held at Kirk of the Hills Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 9th, 2022 at 10am, 4102 E. 61st St. Tulsa, OK 74136.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that you donate to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in Cynthia's honor.
