Hester, D. Joyce, 89, passed away Friday, March 31, 2017 in Tulsa, OK. Born March 14, 1928 in Sherman, TX to Tim and Ruby (Powell) Overby. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Adam Chronister. Survived by her loving husband, Charles of the home; three daughters, Donna Chronister and husband, Jim of Pryor, OK, Lisa Smith and husband, Keith of Collinsville, OK, and Sheri Summers and husband, Blake of Broken Arrow, OK; son, Wayne Yeager and wife, Nancy of Tulsa, OK; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Bobby Overby and wife, Wilma of Sherman, TX; sister, Sonja Hensley and husband, Charles of Tyler, TX.
Family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Visitation will be 6-8PM, Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Calvary Baptist Church, 7216 E. Admiral Place, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
