Dale "Nana" Rhea (Johnson) Webb, 88, Tulsa, was born November 4, 1934 in Pampa, Texas to Doc and Nellda Johnson. She went to be with her Lord on August 10, 2023 of natural causes.
Dale was a Pi Beta Phi at the University of Oklahoma where she graduated with a B.S. in Sociology in 1956. She met her husband Carroll Gibson Webb at OU; they were married for 48 years until his death in 2005. They settled in Tulsa in 1970 where Dale resided for the past 53 years. Their sons, Greg and Chris, were born in 1957 and 1964, beginning her career as a professional mom and presiding matriarch, sometimes affectionately known as "Queen Mother."
Dale was a member of Asbury Church for 53 years where she participated in the Senior Choir, Bible Study, and Sunday School. She served the community through the Assistance League and the Red Cross.
Dale loved the outdoors and travel, especially fishing. These passions led her and her family to Spring Creek, Colorado where they made a home away from home for 61 summers. She had a rich social life playing golf and bridge with friends and playing the piano with friends and family.
She is survived and mourned by her children and their families Greg (wife Cindy) and Chris (wife Elise), her 4 grandchildren Travis, Erin, Mabry, and Blake, and 3 great-grandchildren Webb, Archer, and Whitt.
Dale was preceded in death by her parents Doc and Nellda Johnson, her husband Carroll Webb, her brother Bobby Johnson, and his wife Pat.
A memorial service will be held at Asbury Church in the Mason Chapel at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 16, 2023, 6767 South Mingo Road, Tulsa, 74133.
