Obituary

Dana Lee Linker (Born May 13, 1964 - Died December 21, 2023)
Dana Lee Linker, of Tulsa, Oklahoma, died December 21, 2023. Dana was born in Tulsa on May 13, 1964, to her parents, Russell R. Linker, II and Gerry Ann Linker. Dana attended Tulsa Memorial High School and the University of Tulsa where she earned a degree in fine arts. After leaving Tulsa, Dana lived in Hickory Corners and Flint, Michigan. Dana was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brothers Russell R Linker, III (Rusty) (partner Paul Salter) of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Rick Randall Linker (wife Kate Macie) of Richmond, Virginia, and her cousins Christie Livingston, Cathy Wright and Chris Pollard.
Dana was a vibrant spirit while in this world. As a child, she was an avid fan of science fiction and fantasy, in particular the Wizard of Oz. She was known to dress herself and her little brother up in costume to attend science fiction conventions or to collect candy on Halloween. Dana also had a special love of dogs, cats and especially horses which she bred while in Michigan. One remarkable thing about Dana was her art. Dana came from a family of artists. She learned to paint at a young age from her mother who was an accomplished and prolific painter. As Dana matured, she became a brilliant artist that outshone us all. Her ability to capture life in her artwork was amazing. As an adult, Dana became a wandering soul eventually taken from us by Alzheimer's disease. Now that she has crossed over the rainbow, Dana will be a vibrant spirit once again that will paint the heavens.
Donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be greatly appreciated.
