Daniel I. Hesson, 67, of Tulsa, OK, member of Port City Baptist Church, Catoosa, OK, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 10, 1977. He was born on Saturday, December 25, 1909, to Nathaniel Hesson and Heddy (Spurgeon) Hesson, in Skiatook, OK. He was proud to have served in the United States Army in World War II, as a Technician Fifth Grade in the 1908th Army Service Unit, and was a retired truck driver.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Edith (Thompson) Hesson; daughter, Virginia Walker; son, Kenneth E. Carter; 4 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and a lifetime of friends.
