With pure joy, Darrell Lee Creamer, is with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
After a major heart attack on December 1 2012, Darrell came to know Jesus and spent the last 10 years studying and sharing with others. It was with great anticipation that he entered the kingdom of heaven on November 19 2022.
Darrell was born in 1937 to Marian and Coy Creamer in San Francisco CA. He served in the Air Force from 1956-1960 including one year in Thule, Greenland. He graduated with an Economics degree from San Francisco State College in 1966.
Darrell worked in Corporate Real Estate for retailers Safeway Stores, Albertsons and Target until 1985. He then transitioned into shopping center development in California culminating his career with TrizecHahn Europe, London.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tracey Hall. They enjoyed a wonderful life traveling to many different countries, serving Jesus and living in a variety of wonderful places including Clear Lake IA to Newport Beach CA to Cloud Creek Ranch in Colcord OK to London England and finally settling in Tulsa OK.
Darrell is also survived his sister Donna Marschall (Donn) of Chico CA, brother Doug Creamer of Tacoma WA, sons Les Creamer (Laura) of Petaluma CA, Darrell Creamer Jr of Stockton CA, David Larsen (Janet) of Meridian Idaho, daughter Kelly Chidester (Greg) of Santa Rosa CA, and seven grandchildren Jacob, Justin and Dylan Creamer, Jake and Danny Chidester, and Braeden and Ryan Larsen. Brother-in-law Grant Hall (Bess Livingston); sister-in-law Elizabeth Pokorski (John) and numerous very special nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family ranch in Colcord provided many family memories for which Darrell was a centerpiece. He led many visitors on ever-popular snake hunts, cliff jumps into the swimming hole, rounding up horses via ATV, tractor bucket rides and learning to shoot guns. Children were read wild west, nighttime stories about legendary area rancher, Francis Colcord. He often gathered kids in the back of an old truck for bouncing rides over gravel roads and creek crossings which served as a car-and-kid wash. Together Darrell and Tracey organized the Cloud Creek Ranch Olympics including watermelon basketball, cow chip throwing, hale bale rolling, hitching-post balance beam and rock skipping. Each day concluded with laughter while sharing "Hakunamata's" - the most favorite memory from the day. "The ranch" was just one of the many adventures Darrell and Tracey shared with so many.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held Monday, December 5 at 10:30 a.m. at First Methodist Church 1115 South Boulder Tulsa.
