Darrell B. Robison Sr., age 91 of Tulsa, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013. He was born on September 16, 1921 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He served in the 45th Infantry Division during World War II, participating in three amphibious landings in the Italian Campaign at Sicily, Salerno, and Anzio. He was awarded the Combat Infantry Badge, Purple Heart, and European-African-Middle Eastern Theatre Ribbon with two bronze stars. He married Virginia Dozier in Okmulgee on July 26, 1944. They enjoyed 68 years together. Darrell was the founder and original owner of Robison Air Heating and Cooling. He and Virginia were charter members of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. He was active in fishing, hunting, golf, bowling, and coached baseball. He is survived by his wife, Virginia; son Darrell Jr. and wife Brenda; son Mike and wife Denise; daughter Ginna and husband Chris; ten grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Noon-8PM, Friday, June 7, 2013 at Moore?s Southlawn.
