Obituary
David was born September 20, 1939 in Colbert, OK.
He married Georgia Mae Wiseman in Tulsa in 1960. David was a man's man. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a Christian man who loved to talk about the Lord. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed taking care of his grandson Joshua, and encouraged me and our daughter to go shopping, so he didn't have to share him. David is survived by his wife of 59 years, Georgia; his son, David Wayne Higgins and his daughter, Candetta Sue Higgins; two grandchildren, Joshua David Pyle and Libbie BreeAnn; his brother, Dewayne Higgins and wife LaJuana; his sister, Eunice and husband Richard Stiger; and his brother-in-law, Don L. Wiseman. Dave was a man of few words and was thankful for what he and God had accomplished together. David was head usher and sang in the choir at Plainview Baptist Church. He had gone to Falls Creek, where he was a counselor and was always one step behind the boys, and was the bus driver for our youth.
