Obituary
Richard "David" Keel was born on September 2, 1935 to Parents Birdie and Dr. William Keel, Sr.
David graduated from Mississippi College and received his Master's Degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and became a minister. He was also the Copy Editor for The Tennessean/Gannett newspaper, from which he retired from in 2000 after 24 years of service.
David was preceded in death by: his parents Birdie and Dr. William A Keel, Sr.; brothers Pinkney Durham Keel and William (Bill) A. Keel, Jr.
David is survived by: his loving wife Margaret Keel; daughter Nancy Catherine Rivers (Jeffrey); son Richard Durham Keel; grandchildren Jeffrey Michael Rivers, Jr. (Allison Lumpkin), Emily Rivers and Michelle Rager (Darren); great-grandchildren: Collin Rivers, K.J. Neltner, Kristen Neltner and Vera Rager.; and many nieces and nephews.
