Obituary

Dave (David) Lansdown, born April 29, 1955, to Emory (Pete) Lansdown and Oma Jean Lansdown in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Dave was full of energy and curiosity as a child, he would tell us wonderful stories that captured our attention.

Living a quiet, full and rich life, on his own terms, pouring himself into everything he involved himself in. A born-again Christian he loved the Lord wholeheartedly and spoke of going to the new Jerusalem and how it would be and wanted everyone he knew and loved to be there.

A talented artist with galleries in New York and Japan staging his work. He also loved photography.

And created a dark room for developing his pictures.

Earning a degree in college he attended for four years and at that time learned about the body and its functions along with medical terminology and put anyone in the medical field in awe of his knowledge.

Loving to cook and create his own recipes, everyone fortunate enough to enjoy his creations were truly blessed. In his element whenever he could use his creativity.

He loved the outdoors and built a beautiful pond with a waterfall feature for many fish and people to enjoy.

Your kindness and love will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know you.

Proceeded in death by his father Emory (Pete) Lansdown his sister Dana (Lansdown) Barrick.

He leaves behind his mother Oma Jean Lansdown, no son ever loved and cared for his mother more, his niece Elena (Barrick) Ferril, his aunt TiShia Miller, cousins Stewart and Billie Johnston, Scott Johnston, Shellie Clark, Brian and Cathy Clark, Jamie Miller, Tony Miller, Chris and Anaka Miller, Kellie Fernandes, and many other relatives.

Dave we love you and you will be missed terribly but we know you are enjoying the New Jerusalem in your heavenly home and you can show us around when we get there.

Funeral Service will be 1PM, Friday, July 12, 2024 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
