LOVEJOY, David Lee, 85, passed away Monday, October 5, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Born February 27, 1930 in Eldora, IA to John Glenn and Zelma (Smith) Lovejoy.

He was a proud US Marine and veteran of the Korean War. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, he began his career in Tulsa with Skelly Oil and retired as a Lease Supervisor from what is now Chevron. He authored and published The Tulsa Trail Guide.

He married Lola Grace (Jacobs) Lovejoy in 1953 in Laurinburg, NC who preceded him in death.
Survived by sons, John W. (Natalie) Lovejoy of Houston, TX, and Jeff L. (Shelley) Lovejoy of Laguna Niguel, CA; grandson, David Cole Lovejoy; granddaughters, Kristen Kaye Lovejoy, Elizabeth Catherine Lovejoy, Casey Ann Lovejoy, and Sydney Malia Lovejoy; great-grandson, Jack Michael Thomas; great-granddaughter, Lola Grace Thomas; brother Dean S. Lovejoy of Beaumont, TX.
