David M. Johnson was born in Spiro, OK, on September 16, 1935, and passed away on December 1, 2023, in Tulsa, OK. His parents, Virgil and Florence Johnson, and brothers Jack and Leon preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Jocelyn Page of Tulsa, wife Delores Johnson of Tulsa; sons Eric Johnson and wife Georgina of Broken Arrow; Greg Johnson and wife Loxy of Locust Grove, OK; Paul Giacomo II and wife Gena of Tulsa, and daughters Jacqueline Giacomo of Tulsa, Denise Giacomo of Coweta, OK, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. David graduated from Central High School in Tulsa and served in the Army and the National Guard. He worked at North American Aviation, which became Rockwell International, for 32 years, was president of UPGWA Local 801 and a Tulsa Sidewinders Hot Rod Club member. He was an active member of the Shriners and a 32-degree Mason. David was a founding member of the North American Aviation Rod and Gun Club and president of the club for 30 years. He loved hunting, fishing, and traveling and had a great sense of humor. David was greatly loved and will be missed by many.
