David Glenn McIntosh, 62, passed away in Tulsa, OK on November 11, 2023. He was born in Tulsa, OK on July 27, 1961, to Curtis McIntosh and Marsha (Sifers) McIntosh.
David grew up in Tulsa and graduated from East Central High School in 1979. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Navy. Upon completion of his military service, David went to work for the U.S. Department of Transportation. He worked as an Air Traffic Control Specialist and retired from the Federal Aviation Administration.
A life-long fan of aviation, David earned his Private Pilot License in October of 1990, and his Commercial Pilot License in April of 1996. In addition to his love of airplanes, David was a photographer and a fan of all types of technology. A consummate "Gadget Guy", David earned his Comp TIA A+ certification and was always willing to lend a helping hand with any technology related problem.
He was proceeded in death by his younger brother Steven McIntosh, his father Curtis McIntosh, and his mother Marsha McIntosh.
David is survived by his sons Christopher McIntosh (Bronte McIntosh) of Nollamara, Western Australia, Ryan McIntosh, and Randall McIntosh (Jeannette McIntosh) of Tulsa, OK; sister Bonnie McIntosh (Clay McIntosh) of Bartlesville, OK; brother Michael McIntosh of Farmington, AR; stepmother Suzy McIntosh of Tulsa, OK; grandchildren Haidynn McIntosh, Emaleigh McIntosh, Jaxon McIntosh, Brooklyne McIntosh, Madisyne Wammack, Michael McIntosh, Jesse McIntosh, and Ivy Jacobs.
David was kind, cheerful, and always willing to help. He will be missed dearly by his family and all of his many friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at The Moore Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK.
