David Rainbolt, 52 of Owasso, Oklahoma, passed away on Monday, December 8, 2014 at his residence. He was born December 19, 1961 in Amarillo, Texas, the son of Chester Rainbolt, Jr. and Cherry Rhody Rainbolt.
David worked as a diesel technician in the trucking industry.
David loved to enlist the help of his family and friends in his many camping and fishing adventures. David never met a stranger and was always the first to hold out a helping hand. Some of his favorite times were helping out in the local "soup kitchens" and greeting people with a hearty handshake and boisterous laugh.

He will always be remembered for his loving generosity and strong faith in The Man Above.
David is survived by one son, Montana Rainbolt of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one daughter, Madison Rainbolt of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two step-sons, Cody Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Matthew Wilson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; two brothers, Michael & wife Loretta Rainbolt of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Mark Rainbolt of Los Alamos, New Mexico; one niece, Shauntel and husband Jeremiah Eisenhauer of Norfolk, Virginia; one nephew, Justin Rainbolt of Austin, Texas; and his Aunt, Uncle and Cousins, Doris, Joe, Zachary, Larry, Linda and Robert Taylor. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Bryan Chester Rainbolt.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma, 74145. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
The family has requested memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
