On Tuesday, November 17, 2020, David Speegle, loving father and grandfather, passed away at the age of 66. David was born in Tulsa, OK on August 2, 1954 to Quinton and Ernestine Speegle. He worked at Quiktrip for over 25 years and owned a small business, DAS Enterprises. He married Darbara Speegle in July 1979, and spent 21 years together. They raised three beautiful daughters, Desiree (38), Deborah (35), and Danielle (30). David had six grandchildren and many more step-grandchildren.
David was preceded in death by his father, Quinton, and his mother, Ernestine. He is survived by his brothers Roger Speegle and Barton Speegle, daughters Desiree Sullivan, Danielle Speegle, and Deborah Bramblett - married to Travis Bramblett, and long-term girlfriend Carole Pritzos and her son - Alec Pritzos, many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
David loved music and spending time with friends and family. He loved Dallas Cowboys Football and visiting local casinos. In his youth he played many sports, was very active, and continued that love by coaching his daughters' softball teams. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping. He enjoyed relaxing at Grand Lake. He was known to be the funniest man in the room and master of the "dad joke". He had a love of board games and often decimated the competition during family Monopoly games. He wrote poetry and was published in multiple anthologies.
Visitation will be 10 am to 8pm Sunday, November 22nd at Moore's Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2020 at Moore's Funeral Home Southlawn Chapel at 2 pm and a graveside service will follow at Floral Haven.
