David Phillip Thompson was born March 6, 1937 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and passed away on May 26th, 2021 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He was a member of Harvard Avenue Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). David graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He lived in many locations but retired in 1997 in Los Angeles, CA from Black and Veatch. David enjoyed traveling and NASCAR racing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Kathleen Thompson and Grady Thompson.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Maggie; sisters, Emma Anne Ward and Mady Frasier; sons, Andy and Mark; daughter, Cyndi Molina (Jeff); grandchildren, Matthew Thompson, Mitchell Thompson, Ethan Thompson, Seth Molina, Josie Molina and Keely Molina; and one great-grandchild, Karter Thompson.

A Memorial Service will be 2PM, Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Harvard Avenue Christian Church, 5502 S Harvard Ave, Tulsa, OK 74135.
