Deeann Davis, a lifelong Tulsan, entered this life on October 20, 1952 and peacefully left on May 4, 2023. Dee lived a life that she was proud of. She served her nation as a member of the U.S. Navy in Jacksonville, Florida. No one was more proud to be an American, Christian, or female veteran than she was. After serving our country, Dee returned to Tulsa and served her community working for the City of Tulsa. Due to her hard work and perseverance, she was able to take an early retirement in 2010 from the City Water Department. She had an adventuresome spirit and liked to camp, fish, practice her marksmanship, and study nature. Her favorite companions were her beloved chihuahuas, whom she often traveled and explored with. Aunt Dee had a curious mind and always knew just the right tool, piece of knowledge, or tidbit of well worn advice that would fit any situation. Her favorite saying was, "If a man can fix it, I can fix it better!" Furthermore, she was a big believer of being safe and preached this to her loved ones often.
Awaiting her arrival in Heaven were her parents Wayne and Georgia Davis and twin sister Sharon Fitzgerald. Left to treasure her memory are her nieces Karla Sweeney (David) of Bossier City, LA and Christina Tasset (Patrick) of Nixa, MO; her brother Curtis Peace (Susan) of Wichita, KS; great nieces and nephew, Ellen Summers (Ian), Courtney Gall, John David Sweeney, and Sophia Tasset; and beloved family friends Heather Billings and Michelle Willyard of Bixby, OK. Special thanks to longtime friend Shirley Clark for taking over care of Dee's faithful companion, Pickle.
Dee's loved ones hope that she has learned all of the answers to all of the questions, found the truth about Big Foot, and is happily rejoicing with her family and Savior.
